Job description

We are currently seeking a Compliance Analyst for our client, a dynamic and growing company in the financial sector. This is an excellent opportunity to join a developing Compliance team and build your career in the field of financial regulations on an international scale.

The Compliance team consists of 21 professionals situated across major financial hubs, including London, Warsaw, Luxembourg, Singapore, and the US. As part of this small yet impactful team, you will support a diverse range of regulatory functions across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring excellence in compliance for 10 regulated entities offering investment management and advisory services.

This position offers a hybrid work model, allowing for 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. You will play a crucial role in Compliance Monitoring and Assurance activities, contributing to the development of a comprehensive Compliance Monitoring Framework. This role is ideal for individuals looking to transition from routine monitoring tasks into a more strategic management and oversight role. Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on the company’s operations.
  • Maintain the Compliance Horizon Tracker, a tool for tracking upcoming regulations.
  • Prepare reports and provide written and verbal updates for the Compliance team and other departments.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather regulatory summaries.
  • Regularly produce and analyze Management Information.
  • Review information sources, such as communications from regulators and law firms, for their applicability to the company’s activities.

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Compliance department, preferably in banking, Private Equity, or asset management.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and experience working in an international environment.
  • Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.
  • Higher education in Law, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, multitasking environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical and organizational skills.
