Are you a seasoned Avaya Telephony Engineer looking to make a significant impact? Join our dynamic team at the forefront of innovation, supporting an international client base in Ireland and the USA. We are seeking an experienced professional with a deep understanding of Avaya Telephony software, certified by Avaya and well-versed in implementing configurations. 

Key Responsibilities: 

As an Avaya Telephony Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in managing and supporting our virtual contact center operations across the US, Ireland, and Poland. Engage with cutting-edge technology and collaborate with a team of talented professionals in a dynamic environment. 

Key Duties: 

  • Maintenance of Avaya communication systems, focusing on IP/SIP Systems, converged technologies, and Contact Center. 
  • Provide remote support for Avaya Aura Communication Manager, Avaya Experience Platform, Avaya Session Manager, Avaya System Manager, Media Servers, IP Office, SBCE Avaya provisioning software, and IP networking. 
  • Diagnose issues in SIP environments/system integrations and troubleshoot IP protocol traces, logs, and integration products. 
  • Support Voice over IP/SIP, end-points, and trunks. 
  • Provide support for contact center applications, including CMS and WFO. 
  • Interface with vendors, Carrier Service providers, and 3rd party manufacturers. 
  • Execute moves, adds, and changes for customers as needed. 
  • Perform project-specific CTI Integrations where required. 
  • Offer 2nd and 3rd Line support to service desk analysts. 

Candidate Requirements: 

The ideal candidate possesses a profound understanding of Avaya Contact Center technologies, with a focus on CMS and WFO. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and fulfill customer requests are crucial. 

Key Qualifications: 

  • Proficiency in Avaya communication systems, including CMS and WFO. 
  • Demonstrable advanced experience in VoIP and SIP technologies. 
  • Ability to troubleshoot networking with TCP/IP and SIP, SNMP, TLS protocols. 
  • Strong communication skills. 
  • Understanding of QoS (Quality of Service) and the OSI model. 
  • 3-5 years of Avaya technical support experience, with hands-on experience installing, supporting, or administering Avaya products. 
  • Desired certifications from Avaya Learning, including ACIS or ACSS in any Avaya product.
