We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client based in Abu Dhabi and are looking for a skilled Civil Engineer who is open to relocation and excited to take the next step in their career in an international setting.

Job Purpose

As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing construction projects spanning a wide range of physical and natural environments — from initial concept through to successful completion.

Key Accountabilities

• Develop detailed civil engineering designs aligned with project requirements.

• Conduct feasibility assessments and perform site inspections.

• Prepare and implement comprehensive project plans.

• Research and provide accurate project estimates.

• Review and ensure compliance with government regulations and ordinances.

• Monitor and optimize safety procedures, production processes, and regulatory adherence.

• Provide recommendations and alternative solutions to engineering challenges.

• Liaise confidently with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.

• Manage projects including budgets, resources, deadlines, and procurement of quotes.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the reporting manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field, accredited by the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE).

• 8–10 years of professional experience as a Civil Engineer.

Skills and Competencies

• Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.

• Proficiency in design software such as Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation.

• Knowledge of map creation and photo imaging software.

• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities with high precision in calculations and design.

• Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight project deadlines.

• Leadership skills to effectively manage multidisciplinary teams.

• Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
