Job description

Our client is a leading organization seeking a highly skilled Commercial Senior Manager to serve as the commercial conscience and contract custodian across a portfolio of medium to large outsourcing accounts.

As a key member of the global team, the Commercial Senior Manager will be responsible for overseeing commercial aspects from implementation to exit across various outsourcing accounts. This role involves collaborating with client services leadership teams, reducing contractual risks, preventing contract erosion, and enhancing overall commercial value. The Senior Manager will be instrumental in establishing and continuously improving the commercial function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth reviews of client contracts, ensuring commercial obligations are met.
  • Collaborate with Client Services Teams to identify financial opportunities and reduce revenue leakage.
  • Analyze and interpret contract documents, engaging with clients during complex governance conversations or disputes.
  • Identify and quantify scope creep and goodwill, ensuring measurable monetary values and plans to realize the value.
  • Provide commercial awareness and training, share insights from other accounts, and update commercial reports.

Qualifications and Experience:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • Commercial mindset with knowledge of levers and mechanisms for value creation and risk control.
  • Persuasive communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders of all levels.
  • Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously and distilling complex contractual language.
  • Rigorous attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to interpret contract terms and conditions.
  • Experience in complex contract management and dispute resolution.
