We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer – Maintenance to join a prestigious and highly secure facility in Abu Dhabi. Job Purpose

To ensure the continuous and safe operation of all electrical systems and equipment through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and compliance with all relevant UAE regulations and internal standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on LV and MV systems, switchgear, motors, control panels, and distribution boards.

• Diagnose complex electrical faults and implement effective repair strategies.

• Supervise technicians and coordinate with external contractors to ensure timely and compliant maintenance delivery.

• Monitor energy consumption and recommend efficiency improvements.

• Ensure full compliance with DEWA/ADDC regulations, HSE standards, and facility protocols.

• Maintain technical documentation, daily logs, and asset condition reports.

• Support testing, shutdowns, commissioning, and inspections.

• Participate in planning equipment upgrades and replacements.

Key Skills & Competencies

• In-depth understanding of LV/MV electrical systems, switchgear, PLC-controlled equipment, UPS, and generators

• Proficient with preventive maintenance software (CMMS) and electrical diagnostic tools

• Excellent troubleshooting and fault-finding capabilities

• Familiar with UAE safety codes, inspection standards, and regulatory bodies (DEWA/ADDC)

• Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and technical drawings

• Strong communication and team coordination skills

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

• 5–7 years of experience in electrical maintenance (industrial, commercial, or facilities management)

• Certifications in HV/MV systems, PLC programming, or energy management are strong assets

• Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus
