Role Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced General Ledger Accounting and Financial Reporting Expert to join our client’s dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the Alternative Investments department, collaborating closely with the Team Lead to enhance the financial reporting process. 

Key Responsibilities: As a General Ledger Accounting and Financial Reporting Expert, you will: 

• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and postings prepared by Fund Accounting Services teams. 
• Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual deliverables, including the Net Asset Value reporting pack. 
• Independently review work prepared by other team members, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of deliverables. 
• Develop and maintain a strong familiarity with accounting standards. 
• Assist in special projects to improve efficiency, quality, and accuracy of work performed by the team. 
• Ensure adherence to all established procedures, best practices, and internal controls. 

Qualifications and Requirements: 

• Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within asset management. 
• Creative thinking and a passion for continuous self-development. 
• University degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience. 
• Strong understanding of accounting practices and standards. 
• Fluency in English is essential.
