As our client continue to expand, they are seeking a Head of Finance to join our management team and drive our ambitious growth plans forward. This role is perfect for someone with a ‘can do’ attitude, eager to be a strategic leader and make a significant impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Focus:
  – Prepare and revise annual forecasts and budgets.
  – Represent finance in board meetings, presenting performance insights.
  – Act as a key advisor, driving our cultural ethos forward.
• Operational Excellence:
  – Collaborate with sales and operational teams to enhance efficiency and margins.
  – Provide insightful analysis and recommendations on financial performance.
  – Challenge existing practices to optimize performance and facilitate process improvements.
• Financial Management:
  – Oversee all financial aspects, including management reporting and cash flow management.
  – Ensure compliance with taxation and legal requirements.
  – Manage finance and IT teams effectively.

Qualifications & Skills:
– Qualified accountant with a minimum of 5 years’ industry experience.
– Strong analytical skills with a commercial focus.
– Ambitious and driven, with excellent communication skills.
– Experience in manufacturing or light industry preferred.
– Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of Sage Line 50 is advantageous.
