We are hiring on behalf of our esteemed client in Abu Dhabi, and currently seeking a highly experienced and visionary IT Manager ready to relocate and take on a leadership role within an international organization. If you have a strong background in ERP systems (particularly Microsoft Dynamics AX), as well as expertise in networking and server management, this is your chance to lead impactful projects in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the strategic planning, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s ERP system, with a focus on Microsoft Dynamics AX or a similar platform

• Manage and mentor a team of IT professionals responsible for ERP administration, troubleshooting, and user support

• Oversee the design, optimization, and security of the company’s networking infrastructure

• Manage all aspects of server administration, including hardware provisioning, virtualization, disaster recovery, and performance optimization

• Collaborate with various departments to align business needs with technical ERP solutions

• Establish and enforce IT policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices

• Stay current with trends and emerging technologies related to ERP, networking, and server environments

• Provide strategic guidance to senior management on IT roadmaps, budgets, resource planning, and risk management

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)

• 15 to 20 years of relevant experience in IT leadership roles

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage, inspire, and develop IT teams

• Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX or similar ERP systems (implementation, customization, support)

• In-depth knowledge of networking protocols and infrastructure, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs

• Proficiency in server administration – Windows Server, Linux, virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V), and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure)

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for resolving complex technical issues

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to liaise effectively with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders

• Relevant certifications such as MCSE, CCNA, ITIL, PMP are highly desirable

• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows Server, Office Suite, and Exchange

• Strong multitasking and time management abilities
