We are seeking a skilled Audio-Visual (AV) Programmer for a prestigious client in Abu Dhabi. This key role involves designing, programming, and standardizing advanced AV hardware systems, ensuring high-quality performance across multiple global locations.

Job Purpose:

To design and implement complex audio/video/control system standards and ensure their consistent adoption, maintenance, and improvement across the organization.

Key Accountabilities:

• Design and standardize complex AV and control systems, ensuring global adoption of best practices

• Develop wiring and configuration standards for all AV systems

• Provide expert consultation on new and ongoing AV projects, delivering detailed feedback to relevant authorities

• Perform daily administration and maintenance of AV equipment and project sites

• Program, troubleshoot, test, and commission Crestron control systems

• Manage preventive maintenance and operational checks for all AV systems

• Support and work extensively with Apple products as part of AV setups

• Take full responsibility for designing, commissioning, and projecting AV content in the cinema

• Maintain the integrity, availability, and confidentiality of all work related to the royal family

• Research and recommend improvements to electronic AV systems

• Diagnose and troubleshoot networking issues including static and dynamic IPs

• Identify and resolve faulty or defective equipment promptly

• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or related field

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar AV programming role

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus

• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach

• Team player with the ability to handle independent projects confidently

• Expertise in Crestron programming and AV system management

• Solid knowledge of networking principles and troubleshooting
