We are looking for a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer – Maintenance to join a leading facility in Abu Dhabi. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of all mechanical equipment and systems throughout the site.

Job Purpose

Oversee the inspection, troubleshooting, and maintenance of mechanical equipment and systems to guarantee reliable, safe, and efficient operations across the facility or project site.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and execute preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on mechanical systems such as pumps, compressors, HVAC, piping networks, valves, conveyors, boilers, and other plant machinery.

• Diagnose mechanical faults, identify root causes, and implement effective repair solutions.

• Coordinate maintenance activities with electrical and instrumentation teams for integrated solutions.

• Prepare and maintain maintenance logs, reports, and work orders using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).

• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, local authorities (DM, ADCD, Trakhees), and manufacturer specifications.

• Support installation, testing, commissioning, and upgrades of mechanical systems.

• Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements or replacements.

• Liaise with vendors regarding spare parts, service contracts, and warranty claims.

• Conduct inspections and internal audits to ensure mechanical system safety and reliability.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, hydraulics, pneumatics, and rotating equipment.

• Familiarity with UAE safety and maintenance standards (DM, ADCD, Trakhees).

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and P&IDs.

• Proficient in AutoCAD, maintenance planning tools, and Microsoft Office.

• Excellent leadership skills with proven ability to supervise and guide teams.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.

• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in mechanical maintenance.

• Experience in facilities management, manufacturing, utilities, or construction sectors is highly desirable.
