The Senior Financial Accountant is responsible for: the preparation of monthly Financial Statements and Consolidated Management Accounts. This role directly reports to the Finance Manager. The Senior Financial Analyst actively contributes to the efficient and effective functioning of the Finance Department.

Minimum Education & Skills required

• Membership in a recognised accountancy body with professional qualification and relevant post-qualification experience (e.g.,ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
• Proven ability to deliver measurable outcomes within established, demanding timelines.
• Proficiency in analysing costing proposals from both macro and micro perspectives.

Work Experience

• At least 5 years of experience in finance (preferably with 3 years in the industry).
• Essential experience in working within a large,complex accounting function with strict reporting deadlines.
• Demonstrated proficiency in using relevant financial software.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare the annual budget for review, monitor budget versus actual performance, and provide explanations for key financial movements. Align activities with Group Policies, Procedures, and reporting timelines.
• Produce accurate, timely monthly management accounts in accordance with best practices (FRS102 SORP) and Group policies.
• Provide costings and insights to the Budget/Forecasts, facilitating the review of actual performance versus planned targets.
• Enhance the collection, integration, and
  presentation of financial data, including the development of IT submissions, tooutline targeted efficiencies and paybacks to the Finance Manager.
