Our client is currently looking for a Training & Development Manager.

The Training and Development Manager will be responsible for owning and delivering the Training and Development strategy for company’s Global client servicing teams. You will oversee our Learning Management System, and a team tasked with training new and experienced hires and supporting all client servicing teams in the servicing of our company’s clients.

Your role in the team

The Training and Development Manager forms part of Trading Services Leadership team, who oversee our global client servicing capability. This role is responsible for product training, comprising responsibilities and accountabilities like leading a group of enthusiastic trainers, budgeting, monitoring, and controlling end to end process training and trainee management. Trading Services has long been considered a talent hub across various business areas and so this role brings an amazing opportunity to nurture the future of company, through training and development.

What you’ll do

  • Own, implement and deliver a long term training and development strategy for company’s Global client servicing teams
  • Build and develop a strong team structure to efficiently deliver on our global servicing T&D requirements
  • Aligning the training and development strategy for all client servicing departments to company’s Service Objectives and KPIs including capability building and identifying areas for staff development
  • Evaluate Client Servicing training requirements – work with Subject Matter Experts/Specialists/Senior Leadership to design solutions
  • Lead strategic training initiatives as planned to develop high potential staff with Trading Services
  • Plan annual training and development budgets to ensure optimum utilization of allocated budget
  • Plan and lead execution of end-to-end onboarding and service training process for our global teams
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders for quality and effectiveness of training
    Manage progressive training programs like Advanced Product Test (APT) and TET (Trade Execution Test) across all service departments

What you’ll need for the role

  • Experience creating, communicating and implementing effective Training and Development strategies
  • Leadership abilities, including experience of managing and leading training function
  • Strong soft skills as a people leader including the ability to performance coach and mentor
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability and confidence to inform, collaborate and influence effectively across all employee levels and functions and create networks
